Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure orders are picked and packed accurately and ready for delivery. This casual/zero-hour role covers holiday and absence relief across the branch.

You’ll work up to about 41 hours weekly Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays, performing duties from stock checks to van loading. The ideal candidate brings experience in fast-paced warehouses, strong teamwork, good numeracy and literacy, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast paced warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good team player with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Customer service focus and understanding of delivery deadlines.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of car parts and automotive industry would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Check and store supplier-delivered parts.
• Pick and load vans accurately and on time.
• Inspect customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Verify stock quantities against the computer and bin locations.
