Job summary

BAKO Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will unload/load vehicles, correctly receipt goods, and collate/pick customer orders while keeping areas clean and compliant with site procedures.

You must be flexible and able to work in Ambient, Freezer and Chiller areas, hold a Counterbalance forklift licence and have H&S training. The role is on site with 45 hours per week and a shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load vehicles.
• Receipt goods in accurately and on time.
• Collate/pick customer orders.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping across the site.
• Operate MHE safely and efficiently.
• Follow instructions from shift supervisor.
• Support other duties as required by manager.

Hours : Sunday - Thursday 4pm start on job and finish basis. (45 hours per week with a 1 hour unpaid break)

Salary : £31,963 per annum (includes shift allowance payment)

Purpose of Job

Unloading/Loading Vehicles, booking in stock correctly from goods in & Collating/Picking Customer orders & all associated cleaning duties.

Main Duties

• To carry out given duties/instructions by shift supervisor
• Accurately picking and collating stock in all departments Ambient, Freezer & Chiller.
• Checking in goods inwards.
• Checking vehicle temperatures before loading/Unloading.
• Loading/Unloading of vehicles in line with given instructions.
• Use of mechanical handling equipment in daily duties in safe and competent manner.
• To carry out any hygiene/maintenance related duty, or any other task deemed appropriate by the manager/shift supervisor in any part of the site.
• These together with all other duties associated with the effective and efficient running of the Warehouse area and other related areas.
