Job summary

Aspinal of London is hiring a Warehouse Operative for the evening shift at our Distribution Centre. The temp role runs during the Christmas peak (October 2026 – January 2027).

You will move stock, pick and pack orders for retail stores and wholesale customers, and assist with unloading deliveries. Join a fast-moving team focused on accuracy, quality and efficiency, with opportunities for more hours and potential extended contracts based on performance.

Warehouse Operative Evening Shift

Distribution Centre

Aspinal of London is looking to recruit and train new Warehouse Operatives for temporary Christmas peak roles.

The Distribution Centre is the pumping heart of Aspinal. The team ensures that all stores and customers receive the beautiful products on time and in great condition. We are an efficient team of hardworking individuals who enjoy the challenge of delivering results in a rapidly growing organisation.

The warehouse is a fast moving and high energy environment to work in with the focus being on quality, accuracy and efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Acting as a runner - moving stock and orders efficiently between departments
• Picking and packing orders for both our retail stores and wholesale customers
• Assisting with unloading deliveries and accurately putting away stock
• Reporting any order discrepancies or quality issues to your line manager
• Assisting with the despatch of all outbound goods
• Lending a hand across other warehouse departments as needed during peak
• Always adhering to all Health & Safety and security procedures.

You’ll be a great fit if you’re reliable, organised and take pride in doing a job well. You’ll need a good eye for detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work accurately and consistently while keeping up with the pace of a busy warehouse.

SHIFT DETAILS

Contract: Temporary, Christmas peak (October 2026 – end of January 2027)

Shift pattern: Evening shift, 17:00 – 22:00

Location: Aspinal House, Midhurst Road, Highfield, West Sussex, GU27 3HA

Getting Here: Aspinal House is located on Midhurst Road, close to Fernhurst and approximately 4 miles from Haslemere. The nearest bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from us, with regular services connecting to Haslemere and Midhurst.
