Job summary

Pyramid Search is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operative/Driver in the Staines-upon-Thames area. The role blends hands-on warehouse tasks with driving duties, offering variety and activity.

You will load and unload goods, maintain admin like delivery notes, and coordinate deliveries across London and the South East, with occasional overnight travel for distant locations. A full UK driving licence and basic IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held and able to obtain security vetting.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Eye for detail and teamwork.
• Previous warehouse experience highly desirable.
• Counterbalance forklift and ADR certificate preferred, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items with proper manual handling.

• Assist stock organization, inventory checks, palletising and repacking.
• Drive a small van to deliver/collect goods; ensure timely deliveries.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our clients team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on warehouse work with professional driving responsibilities. Responsibilities:

Warehouse:

• Load and unload items using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Maintain all warehouse related admin such as delivery notes, goods in, despatch / goods out.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as stock organization, inventory checks, palletising and repackaging.

Driving:

• Safely operate a small van or vehicle to deliver or collect goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections.
• The area would generally be London and the South East of England with the very occasional requirement for an overnight stop if travelling to the North, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or Europe.
• Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and supervisors to coordinate deliveries/ collections and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements:

• You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be able to be security vetted.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer experience.
• A good eye for detail.
• Team player, flexible attitude.
• Able to be security vetted.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
• A counterbalance forklift and Dangerous Goods (ADR) certificate are preferred though are not essential as training can be given.

Hours:

• Hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
