JT14 – Warehouse Operative / Driver

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Salary: £27,000 Per Year – £13 per hour

First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a business that are looking to onboard a Warehouse / Driver for their Preston based site. As a Warehouse Operative / Driver your workload will be a 60/40 split in favour of Warehouse work. You will sort, and check stock for deliveries, and then transport materials to sites for the building team. Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties:

Ensure rush work orders are processed timely and accurately.

Ensure all outbound goods are checked accordingly.

Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

Maintain assigned racking and row upkeep.

Perform auditing per schedule or as requested.

Verify and load all orders.

Complete daily safety inspection of assigned vehicle.

Comply with daily maintenance and safety checks of all vehicles and equipment.

Help unload/load trucks/vans.

Experience:

Full clean driving license, or a maximum of 6 points.

Ideally from a military background.

Solid attention to detail.

Flexibility to work between teams.

Routine lifting, bending, and overhead stretching.

Routine scanning of materials.

Computer literate.

Important information:

Working Hours – 08:30 – 16:30

Monday to Friday

£13 Per Hour / £27,000 Per Year

60% Warehouse work – 40% Driving duties
