Overview

Warehouse Operative / Driver

Belfast

£24,405 per annum

Core hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday, 08:00 - 15:45

They\'re looking for a driven and dynamic Warehouse Operative / Driver to contribute to their continued success.

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your role will be varied, and you will be required to work within all areas of the warehouse and to make deliveries to customers.

Key Tasks
  • Making deliveries to the point of use with NI & ROI customers.
  • Picking and packing orders.
  • Moving stock around by hand or a forklift truck.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items.
  • Loading goods for dispatch.
  • Storing goods.
  • Keeping records of stock.
  • Keeping paperwork up to date.
  • Taking delivery of goods and supplies.

Although the core hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday, 08:00 - 15:45, you must have a flexible attitude to the start and finish times to suit the business needs and be able to work overtime at short notice.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must have previous warehouse experience and a valid driver\'s licence. A forklift licence would be an advantage. The candidate must understand the importance of working as part of a team but also have the motivation and initiative to work alone at times in order to get the job done.

The ideal candidate will be used to working to deadlines in a very busy environment and can think on their feet. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility in their approach and be able to prioritise and remain focused at all times as accuracy is paramount to this role.
