Warehouse Operative / Door Builder

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00, Friday: 08:30 - 16:30

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our expanding team. This role is suited to candidates with a strong production and assembly background, offering variety and opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proven experience in similar roles, and a proactive approach to developing new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Building steel track sets and assembling panels to precise specifications.

Cutting and heating steel springs.

Maintaining an accurate build log within the ordering system.

Ensuring final products meet required standards and customer specifications.

Operating an Auto CAD saw to cut foam-insulated panels.

Picking and packing stock efficiently.

Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized.

Working collaboratively with the external sales team regarding orders.

Coordinating with colleagues across different business locations.

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience in assembly, production, or warehouse operations.

Competency in using hand tools and automated machinery.

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in a production environment.

Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.

Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.

Proficiency with computers and warehouse scanners (training provided on internal systems).

Strong problem-solving skills with a mindset for continuous improvement.

Ability to work independently and as part of a hardworking, committed team.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Forklift truck (FLT) licence advantageous.
