Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Decontamination) to join our Berkshire Community Equipment Service Centre. You will ensure efficient decontamination processes, maintain stock systems, and support installers with loading and deliveries.

Ideal candidates have decontamination experience or are willing to be trained. You should be computer literate with stock systems, possess good communication skills, and be driven to grow with the company.

• Warehouse/decontamination experience desirable but training provided (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day-to-day running of warehouse and decontamination areas
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment for installers
• Logging of special orders and receipts with customer services
• Updating order and stock systems using scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment with paperwork documented
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including repairs/PAT testing
• Ad-hoc weekend rota participation
• Assist field-based Installation Technicians when required

Job description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative (Decontamination) to join the team within our Berkshire Community Equipment Service Centre. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll be working as part of engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done.

Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life.

About the role:

• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion

What are we looking for?

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided
• Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
• Keen to develop within the role and company
• Hard working, driven and motivated
• Full UK driving licence is preferred
