Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support the Buckinghamshire Community Equipment Service Centre. You will work in a close, motivated team handling decontamination, stock control, picking/packing and courier support with scanners and stock systems.

The role offers a 42.5-hour week (Mon–Fri) with a company pension, life cover and a rewards scheme. A full UK driving licence is preferred and training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided.
  • Computer literate – experience using stock management systems would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Decontamination of community equipment.
  • Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
  • Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment.
  • Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers.
  • Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
  • Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including repairs of equipment where required.
  • Participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team within our Buckinghamshire Community Equipment Service Centre. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll be working as part of engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done.

About the role:
  • Decontamination of community equipment
  • Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
  • Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
  • Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with theinstallers
  • Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
  • Updating of order and stock systemswithuse of scanner
  • Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filedMaintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
  • You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
  • You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion
What are we looking for?
  • Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided
  • Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
  • Keen to develop within the role and company
  • Hard working, driven and motivated
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred
