Bidfood UK is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative (days) to join our busy distribution centre. You’ll pick customer orders, load vehicles and help keep stock safe and organized in ambient, chilled or frozen zones.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team, focusing on accuracy, speed and safe manual handling to ensure on-time delivery. From your first day you’ll receive full training on equipment and processes, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the UK-wide Bidfood

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders
