Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative (days) to join our ambient, chilled and frozen environments at Langley Road South Salford. You'll be responsible for picking customer orders, loading vehicles and ensuring goods are stored safely to keep deliveries on schedule.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30 with a salary of £31,590 and benefits including pension, life cover and a health plan. A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.
