Job summary

Pertemps Gist is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Cumbernauld on a full-time basis. Shifts include 6–8 hours starting at 8am, 10am or 12pm, with a mix of day starts and a busy festive period ahead.

You will work with a top voice pick system in a chilled and ambient environment, aiming to meet daily targets and quality standards. Immediate starts are available for reliable candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Picking food products using a top voice pick system.
• Working in a chilled and ambient environment.
• Breaking down and allocating goods.
• Achieving targets and standards set by the shift manager.
• Other duties which may include heavy lifting.

Great Christmas Bonus – Potential to earn up to an extra £800 on top of already great pay rates over the festive period. Mon-Fri £13.38ph, Sat/Sun £14.75ph up to £15.86ph post 40 hours, pay rates increasing after 12 weeks probation. Full-time ongoing day shift warehouse positions in Cumbernauld. Mixture of 8am, 10am & 12pm starts

As a Warehouse Operative you will be:

• Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket
• Working in a chilled and ambient environment
• Breaking down and allocating goods
• Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
• Other duties which may include heavy lifting

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must have a good attention to detail
• Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
• Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
• Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
