Job summary

Pertemps Gist is hiring a Warehouse Operative for full-time ongoing shifts in Wardpark. Roles include breaking down and allocating goods in a chilled and ambient environment, with targets set by the shift manager. Flexible 6–8 hour shifts starting 11am or 12pm, 5 out of 7 days, with potential weekend work.

The role:

• Flexible shifts: 11am/12pm start 6-8 hour shifts
• 5 out of 7 shift patterns including 1 or 2 weekend days

As a Warehouse Operative you will be:

• Working in a chilled and ambient environment
• Breaking down and allocating goods
• Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
• Other duties which may include heavy lifting

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must have a good attention to detail
• Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
• Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
• Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
