Job summary

DPD UK is seeking high-energy Warehouse Operatives at DPD Bicester to join our team. This fast-paced role involves loading, unloading, scanning and sorting parcels, with a 13:00–21:30 shift Monday to Friday, starting from day one.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision.
• Handling items up to 25kg as part of daily duties.
• Using warehouse tech to ensure correct parcel routing.
• Operating scanners, conveyors and handling equipment safely.
• Maintaining health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Quality checks and reporting discrepancies to supervisor.
• Collaborating with team to meet daily targets and shift goals.
• Adhering to attendance expectations and reliability.

Job Description

• Contract Type: Permanent – 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: Monday - Friday
• Hours of Work: 13:00 - 21:30

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift

You’ll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
