Pay Rate: £29, 371.00
Grade: CA
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, rotational 6am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 10:30pm
Location: Heywood - OL10 2TT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Operative Clerical to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  1. Alongside general warehouse duties, be the first point of contact to deal with day-to-day queries from Customers/Operations Team and Suppliers.
  2. On a daily and weekly basis, plan and resource the correct skill base to meet operational requirements based on throughput volumes, including ramp-up periods and current productivity rates in line with delivering the operational budget.
  3. Assist in the development and provision of KPI reports to the Operational Team on a daily and weekly basis.
  4. Preparing RTW paperwork and updating absence records.
  5. Prepare HR packs for Management for Investigations, Disciplinary, and Absence Hearings.
  6. Monitor the automation and report any faults.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  1. Previous admin experience working within a logistics/warehouse environment.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  3. Strong IT skills - using Microsoft Package - Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and ideally Warehouse Management Systems.
  4. Ability to prioritise competing demands in a busy environment.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, working accurately at all times.
