Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking a Parcelforce Warehouse Operative in Basingstoke. This temporary role involves loading and unloading parcels and helping move items safely through the warehouse to the correct routes.

Starting pay is £13.17 per hour (days) or £15.91 (nights). After six months, pay rises to £14.36 and £17.10 per hour respectively. Benefits include weekly pay and a busy, team-focused environment where no two days are the same.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility to switch between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance).
• Physically fit and able to stand long shifts.
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parcels
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

• Mon – Sat Days (06:00 – 20:00): £13.17 per hour
• Mon – Sat Nights (20:00 – 06:00): £15.91 per hour

After 6 months:

• Mon – Sat Days (06:00 – 20:00): £14.36 per hour
• Mon – Sat Nights (20:00 – 06:00): £17.10 per hour
