Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Back Shift)

Location: EH48 2FB

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 12 weeks - Temporary initially, opportunity for permanent

Pay Rate: £12.38 per hour

Working Hours: 12pm - 8pm (5 days over 7 on a 3-week rotating schedule)

Week 1 days off: Thursday/Friday

Week 2 days off: Tuesday/Wednesday

Week 3 days off: Monday/Saturday/Sunday

Hours may vary and overtime may be required.

Main Duties

• Unloading deliveries and checking them against order forms or invoices
• Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
• Working in a cold environment - Chilled/Refrigerated area
• Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking
• Verifying that the orders picked and packed match the customers' specifications, checking for discrepancies, damages, or missing items
• Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
• Working as part of a supportive team
