Job summary

AF Blakemore & Son Ltd in Willenhall, West Midlands, is hiring an Ambient Warehouse Operative for a fixed night pattern (Thu-Sun, 8pm–6am). The role pays £14.51 per standard hour, plus £1.56 night shift allowance (10pm–6am) and a £0.63 per hour reach truck allowance if licensed.

You will handle deliveries, store stock safely, pick and pack customer orders, and support depot housekeeping. Numerate and literate candidates with a proactive approach will fit into our large, family-owned business

• Safe storage of stock within the warehouse facility
• Accurate processing and assembly of customer orders
• Report stock shortages to all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
• Conducting stocktaking activity in accordance with planned schedules
• Safe, accurate loading and unloading of commercial vehicles in accordance with client service schedules
• Report vehicle defects to line manager
• Ensure forklift trucks are maintained and repaired to agreed service schedules
• Responsible for depot housekeeping and other warehousing functions

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday fixed night shift pattern, 8pm until 6am

£14.51 per standard hour

Plus £1.56 per hour night shift allowance from 10pm until 6am

Plus £0.63 per hour reach truck FLT allowance if a RTITB licence is held

Key Accountabilities
