Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting for a depot/warehouse role within a SPAR distribution setting in the UK.

The position involves night-shift work on a fixed pattern, with responsibilities including receipt and storage of deliveries, order assembly, and stock control in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role is based on a 40-hour week with a base hourly rate of £14.51, plus a night shift allowance (£1.56/h) and an FLT allowance (£0.63/h) for licensed operators.

• Receipt of deliveries in accordance with delivery schedules
• Safe storage of stock within the warehouse facility
• Accurate processing and assembly of customer orders
• Report stock shortages to all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
• Conducting stocktaking activity in accordance with planned schedules
• Safe, accurate loading and unloading of commercial vehicles in accordance with client service schedules
• Report vehicle defects to line manager
• Ensure forklift trucks are maintained and repaired to agreed service schedules
• Responsible for depot housekeeping and other warehousing functions

Key Accountabilities
