Warehouse Operative – AGP Foods Ltd. | Part-Time Opportunities Available

AGP Foods Ltd., a leading food distribution company based in London, is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with part-time positions available to suit flexible schedules.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and be physically fit, as the role involves handling and receiving large quantities of stock. Prior warehouse experience is a bonus but not essential, as full training will be provided. Immediate starts available!

Position: Warehouse Operative

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will assist with stock deliveries (unloading & loading), picking stock according to store requests, and following warehouse procedures and policies. You will need to be self-motivated and have a positive, motivated attitude. This is a very physical role, and you will need to be comfortable with stock management tasks. Experience working in a similar stock/warehouse role is essential.

You will report to onsite management.

Main Duties

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries using manual handling techniques and forklift
• Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
• Reporting any discrepancies regarding stock (quantities and damage)
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards
• Moving pallets using provided equipment
• Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures

Requirements

• Able to meet the physical demands of the role receiving large quantities of stock (Essential)
• Valid Forklift Licence (Essential)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (Essential)
• Good communication skills (Essential)
• Able to work alone and within a team (Essential)
• Previous experience within a FMCG warehouse (Essential)
• Previous manual handling training or experience (Essential)
• Knowledge of South East and East Asian food products (Very Desirable)
• You must have eligibility to work in the UK.

There will be a trial shift as part of the recruitment process.
