Warehouse Operative – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Cheltenham | Mon–Thurs, 2:00pm–11:30pm (Shift Allowance from 7:30pm)

Meridian is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a small and friendly logistics team within a clean, modern engineering facility in Cheltenham. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unpacking and storing goods
- Picking items to order and updating stock via handheld scanners
- Packing goods for dispatch
- Completing associated paperwork
- Verifying container contents and reporting discrepancies
- Assisting other team members as needed

What We’re Looking For:

- Prior warehouse experience
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (e.g. checking part numbers, basic paperwork)
- Comfortable working at height (occasional use of VNA truck)
- Experience with forklifts, powered pallet trucks, or lifting equipment is a plus
- VNA licence/experience is desirable but not essential
- 3 year referencing period and DBS check required

Location: Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, and surrounding areas.
