Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator in Northern Ireland. The role involves a mix of administrative and warehouse duties, including coordination of warehouse activities and customer order management. Candidates should have experience in a logistics environment, with strong organization and communication skills. Salary is approximately £28k-£29k per annum, with a working schedule from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with import/export documentation and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a long-term position.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with internal administration - entering data into internal systems.
  • Help coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Manage and respond to customer order bookings via email.
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Learn and understand internal processes related to shipping export orders.
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of export shipments.
  • Use the Counterbalance forklift to move goods within the warehouse.

Job description

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Mallusk who are currently seeking to recruit a new proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join their team and support their logistics and administrative operations.

Role will involve performing a mix of admin and warehouse duties, including using a Counter Balance Forklift Licence in the main warehouse. If you do not have a counter balance forklift licence you will be trained on how to use one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal with internal administration - entering data into internal systems and maintaining records
  • Help coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory management
  • Manage and respond to customer order bookings via email in a timely and professional manner
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and other people on the management team
  • Learn and understand internal processes related to shipping export orders across Europe and internationally
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of export shipments, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations
  • Use the Counterbalance forklift to move goods within the warehouse; if you don\'t have a forklift licence you will be trained on how to use one
Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a long-term position

Hours of work will be between 2pm and 10.00pm Monday to Friday

Salary will be depending on experience - circa 28k-29k per annum
