Job summary

Lindab Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Stretford. You will accurately receive, check, and process goods, ensuring quality and correct quantities, and support KPI achievement.

You will pick, pack, dispatch orders, store stock, and operate pallet trucks and forklifts (if trained) while following health and safety guidelines. We offer 25 days leave, pension, life assurance, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment or similar operational role.
• Hands-on experience with goods receiving, order picking, packing, or stock control.
• Forklift experience (Reach/Counterbalance) or willingness to train.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe manual handling practice.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process goods in and out of the warehouse to meet company standards.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer and site orders safely and accurately.
• Safely store stock, maintain inventory levels, and support stock counts and rotation.
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts where trained, following safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, compliant working environment and complete routine safety checks.
