Warehouse Operative (07:00 - 17:00)

40 hours per week, 4 days out of 7, to include weekends on a rota basis

Temperature-controlled (4°C) environment

Pay Rates:

• 90% performance: £12.69 per hour
• 100% performance: £14.10 per hour
• 110% performance: £15.51 per hour
• 120% performance: £16.92 per hour
• Additional £0.60 per hour if Reach Certified

As a Warehouse Operative in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient assembly of customers' orders. We seek motivated, friendly, and hardworking individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate assembly of customers' orders
• Picking and loading goods onto cages safely and manageably
• Adhering to stock rotation procedures
• Performing duties within other warehouse functions efficiently
• Marking and storing assembled orders accurately for dispatch
• Loading customer orders onto company vehicles correctly
• Distributing drivers’ run-sheets, documentation, and vehicle keys upon loading completion
• Preparing vehicles prior to loading

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Essential:

• Numerate and literate
• Experience in warehousing and distribution
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment

Desirable:

• FLT (Reach) licence, earning an extra £0.60/hr premium
