Warehouse Operative Role in Yeovilton

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team supporting a key client at their site in Yeovilton. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will be key to our success.

At Kuehne + Nagel, we provide comprehensive support services, including all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage, and picking & packing. The role may also involve store-to-fitment services in co-located centers.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday (08:00 – 16:30) and Friday (07:30 – 14:30). We offer opportunities for growth, hands-on training, and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support daily Warehouse and Supply Chain tasks as per the service contract.
  2. Ensure all tasks meet customer requirements and follow logistics frameworks and instructions.
  3. Participate in Aircraft on Ground rota for out-of-hours support if required.
  4. Operate all Material Handling Equipment, including forklift trucks (training provided).
  5. Conduct security checks and building lock-up procedures.
  6. Be flexible to work between 07:30 and 21:59 as needed.
  7. Follow warehouse procedures and health & safety guidelines.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  2. Customer service orientation and willingness to go the extra mile.
  3. Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Ability to adapt quickly and pay close attention to detail.
  6. Experience with MJDI/SAP is desirable.
  7. Willingness to undergo Security Check Clearance.
  8. Must be able to commute to Yeovilton (BA22 8HT) for scheduled shifts.
