VACANCY – WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Warehouse Operative. In this role you will work in a team to prepare and pick equipment, and you will check back in equipment that has been returned.

Duties for the role:
• Prep and de-prep of various equipment
• Safe loading and unloading of vans and trucks
• Local deliveries and collections as necessary
• Maintenance, testing and repair of equipment (training provided)
• Fuelling of fleet vehicles
• Cleaning of warehouse and work areas
• Use of in-house hire systems for stock control and rental management
• Contribute to the positive culture
The successful candidate:
• A highly motivated individual with a “can do” attitude
• Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment
• Forklift experience is highly desirable
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
• Full UK Driving license
• Have awareness or previous experience within the electrical industry or have relevant transferrable experience from another sector
• A basic understanding of electrical principles would be an advantage
