Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client in Abingdon. This is a temporary to permanent position within their Warehouse team.

About the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to support the warehouse team leader in managing all warehouse activities.

About You:

You need to be physically fit and capable of performing physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Picking components for the assembly team.
2. Packing goods for dispatch, including labeling.
3. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse, ensuring parts are stored correctly.
4. Assisting with inventory counting systems.
5. Supporting warehouse operations such as unloading deliveries, verifying shipments, and loading lorries.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• FLT Licence (Reach Truck) – desirable but not essential.
• Experience in quality inspection roles is advantageous, as this will be required later.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4pm

Friday: 8am to 4pm
