A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a temporary ongoing role in Nursling, paying £12.90 per hour. Job Description: Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join an established warehouse in the Nursling industrial estate.

Our client is looking to expand their team to help in the upcoming busy period. Ideally, we are looking for people with proven recent experience working in a warehouse environment.

Having a Reach, Bendi, or Counter Balance forklift Licence would be beneficial for this role.

We want to hear from you if you can bring an energetic approach to working and supplying assistance to the efficient running of a busy warehouse.

Your duties will include:
  1. Booking in customer orders accurately using a booking in portal
  2. Picking / Locating of goods within the warehouse management system
  3. Picking Hotel/Bar stock orders using an RF gun
  4. Loading and unloading trailers and containers
  5. Booking in Landed orders returned from the ships
  6. Documentation scanning for customer required paperwork
  7. Complete all work-related paperwork accurately as per working procedure
  8. Abide by all Health & Safety regulations
  9. Perform all duties efficiently and safely as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager
The person required will be:
  • Proactive, able to find work to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse
  • Hardworking and willing to work within a close team
  • Health & safety conscious to ensure the safety of themselves & others in the warehouse
  • Willing to learn new skills and methods
