Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a warehouse operative to support stocking, packing and loading of equipment for installers. You will log orders using stock systems, quarantine and decontaminate equipment, and help keep the service centre orderly.

Experience in warehousing is desirable, but full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is preferred and a weekend rota may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and warehouse tasks is preferred.
• Computer literacy with an ability to log and track items.
• Good communication skills with team and suppliers.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock control, labeling and logging equipment.
• Pick, pack and load equipment for installers.
• Log special orders and notify customer services of receipts.
• Update systems using a scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment, keeping paperwork logged.
• Decontaminate community equipment and maintain the service centre.
• Participate in ad-hoc weekend rota; assist field technicians when needed.

Job description

• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable however full training will be provided
• Computer literate - previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
• Keen to develop within the role and company
• Hard working, driven and motivated
• Full UK driving licence is preferred
• £26,436.80 per annum
• Monday to Friday 05:00-13:30 and 1 in every 5 Saturdays on a rota basis
