Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Normanton, WF9. The role involves picking and packing large items for dispatch, and working with heavy goods on a day shift.

It is a physically demanding position requiring regular manual handling. The job is temporary ongoing with a 39-hour week and flexible start dates, and a friendly team environment.

Warehouse Operative Benefits

• Fixed Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm & Friday 8am – 3:30pm
• Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
• Pay Rate: £13.83 per hour
• Contract: Temporary ongoing
• Location: Normanton, WF6
• Start Date: ASAP

Warehouse Operative Duties

• Picking large heavy items ready for dispatch
• Packing and taping items ready for dispatch
• Working with large wooden items, cabinets and whitegoods
• Following instructions
• General Housekeeping
• Working on your own and as part of a team
• Minimum daily requirements (production targets)

Warehouse Operative Criteria

• Previous warehouse experience – preferred but not essential
• Hard working, reliable and punctual
• Excellent communicator
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
• Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
