About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to come and join our Broadcasting & Events Team.

As Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of hire and events, preparing, loading, and unloading of film and television lighting equipment.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment.
  • Pre-programming and basic setup of equipment for live events/hires.
  • Organised checking and storing off-hired equipment.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and returning equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, workshop, and storage areas.
  • Operation of goods inwards and dispatch processes.
  • Ensuring warehouse and job preparation paperwork is accurately completed.
  • PAT testing.
  • General Warehouse duties.

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:

  • The ability to manage your own workload.
  • Ensure professional standards are met even under time pressures.
  • Basic electrical knowledge/experience is desirable.
  • Lighting, sound, or video equipment experience.
  • Willing to undertake relevant training and development.
  • Commitment to health and safety - Knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage.
