Location: Cheshunt
Salary: £26,050 per annum (raising to £26,550 when FLT trained)
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm, including a 1-hour lunch break.
Job Overview
Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in warehouse operations? We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. Your role will involve providing outstanding service to customers through efficient loading, unloading, picking, and packing of stock, while maintaining the highest cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure goods in are accurately put away and follow paperwork procedures.
- Assemble and double-check customer orders for accurate loading onto vehicles.
- Repair damaged boxes to minimize waste and breakage.
- Ensure all food products are safe, legal, and meet our quality standards.
- Perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
- Maintain a tidy, hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Use a forklift (if trained) to transport goods safely.
- Assist with monthly stocktakes and weekly van cleaning.
- Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Provide fast, friendly service during deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collect cheques from customers, ensuring proper completion.
- Prepare and load delivery equipment.
- Maintain communication with the operations team for updates and issue resolution.

- Physically capable of carrying heavy loads within safety guidelines.
- A counterbalance forklift license is desirable.
