Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is hiring Warehouse Operatives to ensure orders are picked, packed and prepared for delivery. You will play a key role in stock control and customer service, working in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires accuracy, focus under pressure and good communication within a team. An understanding of car parts is desirable, with opportunities for training and progression within the business.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced warehouse experience required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail in picking, packing and stock checks.
• Customer service mindset and ability to follow delivery timeframes.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Knowledge of car parts and automotive industry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Check and store supplier-delivered parts.
• Pick and load vans accurately and promptly.
• Inspect customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Ensure stock quantities match the system and are stored correctly.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

Main Duties include:

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours: ##(average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A good team player
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
