Warehouse Operative

HOURS: 37.5 Mon- Sat 5 shifts on rota basis Shift times 0700-1630,0900-1830 & Sat 0700-1600 £12.80 p/h

About The Role

Our client, a well-established family business, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join their Chilled Warehouse Team as pickers and packers.

As a Chilled Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role within their distribution chain, linking production and haulage to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of customer orders. This hands-on, physically active role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment with temperatures between 2-6 Celsius - where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.

Main Duties

  • Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders
  • Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment
  • Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles
  • Complying with food hygiene regulations

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential; candidates who are proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure are welcome to apply. This role offers a great opportunity for growth, with training and development programs provided to build your career in their Warehouse Department.

Important Notes

  • This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards.
  • Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
  • Reliable transportation to the Tewkesbury site is necessary, as public transport may not align with shift times.
