Job summary

Omnia Resourcing has exciting opportunities as picker/packers for our NHS Supply Chain client in a clean, modern distribution centre in the UK. No experience is required as full training is provided; reading orders and complying with health & safety is essential.

Roles are full-time with rotating shifts and weekend work may be required, located on-site in a spacious facility. Shifts include early and night patterns with competitive hourly rates, plus overtime.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to read orders and understand health & safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and be passionate about NHS services.

Responsibilities

• Read and pick orders accurately from the system.
• Work as part of the NHS Supply Chain team in a busy distribution centre.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the picking area.
• Attend engagement days and participate in team activities.
• Support overtime shifts when required.

Omnia Resourcing have exciting opportunities as picker packers working for our client based in Bury St. Edmunds in a clean, modern and spacious distribution centre.

This role would suit individuals who wants to progress in their career, upskill and learn new challenges and become part of the team.

Being part of the NHS Supply Chain means playing a crucial role in our health Service, you are adding real value everyday by making sure that millions of NHS patients get the products they need at the right time.

Experience is not necessary as training provided but willingness to learn and work as a team plus being passionate about the N.H.S is an advantage. English levels needed as you will need to read the orders to be picked plus must be able to understand health & safety.

Shifts

• Rotating weeks Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00/14:00 - 22:00 @ £14.84
• Nights Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 @ £17.08
• Overtime rate: £19.70 - £26.27

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS FULL TIME AND DUE TO LOCATION YOU MUST BE ABLE TO GET TO SITE, THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT.

The site has a large canteen, car park and also hold regular engagement days ranging from BBQ's and cake sales for their local charity East Of England Childrens Hospice.
