Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is looking for a warehouse operative to manage parcel flow in a busy distribution environment in Swanley, UK. The role focuses on scanning, loading, unloading and sorting parcels with speed and care.

You will scan parcel barcodes using handheld scanners or fixed equipment, record movements in the warehouse system, and ensure parcels are sent to the correct destination. You may need to work quickly and handle parcels of different sizes and weights while keeping the area

• You will pick up parcels arriving on a conveyor belt and place them in the correct area, or load parcels onto the belt for processing.
• You may need to work quickly, handle parcels of different sizes and weights, and keep the conveyor area clear.
• You will take parcels from pallets and place them into the correct wheeled metal cages according to their destination, route or delivery area.
• You will need to organise parcels carefully, stack them safely and avoid damaging them.
