Job description

The Warehouse Operative will ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods through the warehouse from vendor delivery to customer satisfaction, whilst maintaining and improving levels of health and safety, quality and productivity in a lean manufacturing environment.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking Customer orders
• Packing customer orders to a high standard
• Maintaining and improving levels of health and safety
• Maintaining and improving levels of stock accuracy
• Maintaining and improving 5S & clean as you go
• Provide assistance to all other departments when required.
• To cover for other team members during absence.
• All other warehouse duties in all departments as requested
• To play an active part in the lean improvements plan
• To have an active involvement in 5S and the warehouse improvement plan
• Identify and make recommendations for cost saving initiatives and corrective actions
• To actively involve yourself in self-development, learning new skills as required

• Warehousing background
• Ability to prioritise and manage own tasks
