As aWarehouse Operativeyou play a key part in keeping our customers coming back to us time and time again.

Main responsibilities:

  • Unload inbound freight accurately and safely in accordance with the goods in schedule ensuring that containers and trailers are released on time.
  • Check inbound freight to ensure the quantity and quality of goods received is to expectation.
  • Label and store inbound goods in a timely manner, accurately storing within the WMS system.
  • Same day book in of products ensuring stock is available so we fulfil customer orders.
  • Place stock in the right location in readiness for goods out processes using appropriate manual handling equipment to complete the process.
  • Identify and record any damaged stock.
  • Process returns correctly with the customer in mind.
  • Run replenishment cycle for on demand and manual replenishment.
  • Pick items with a high level of accuracy and itemising accurately in preparation for transport.
  • Ensure dispatches are correctly labelled and loaded to the relevant carrier, the best carrier is used both for commercial and customer service.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others ensuing that correct processes are followed.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Proven experience working within a warehouse environment
  • FLT and reach truck experience / licences is a distinct advantage
  • Experience within the goods in/goods out process would be ideal
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Good communicator and able to use your own initiative to meet deadlines
  • A team player - our Stafford team is one of our best!

This varied role will enable you to gain experience within our busy warehouse. You will work within the small but friendly, hardworking team where you will be supported and encouraged to use your initiative, this is a key position and pivotal to the success of our business.
