Job summary

Resource Recruitment is helping a Bournemouth-based manufacturing company recruit a Warehouse Operative on an ongoing contract. You will pick a high volume of orders using pick sheets and handheld scanners, pack items securely, label correctly and put away stock as it arrives.

This role is physically demanding, requires quick pace and good attention to detail, and you’ll work in a small, friendly team in a busy warehouse environment with regular hours Monday to Friday.

• Warehousing or stores experience required.
• Able to use computers and handheld scanners.
• Capable of working at a quick pace with accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operative

Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Ongoing contract

Salary: £13.09 per hour / £484.33 per week

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7.45am- 4.15pm & Friday 7.45am - 12.15pm

We are working with a Bournemouth based manufacturing company who are looking for a Warehouse Operative for an ongoing contract.

Within this busy role you will be picking a large volume of orders on a daily basis ready to be packed and despatched on a daily basis.

This role is physically demanding as you will be on your feet all day, lifting, moving and sorting a large variety of items of size and weight ready for despatch.

You will be part of a small, hardworking and friendly team working in an excellent environment.

In this role you will be working at speed but maintaining accuracy to:

• Pick orders using pick sheets and hand-held scanners
• Pack items safely and securely
• Ensure orders are labelled correctly
• Put away stock that comes in
• Help with stock checks

The experience we require for these roles are:
