Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Parcel Distribution

Hours:

Shifts available daily 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay:

£12.21 per hour

Job Overview:

Join a thriving parcel distribution centre in Basildon, Essex, as a Warehouse Operative on the afternoon shift. This is a fast-paced role where accuracy, energy, and efficiency are key. You’ll be working as part of a high-performing team, ensuring parcels are processed and dispatched on time.

Note: The first two weeks may involve training at a different location in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sorting and scanning parcels quickly and accurately
2. Labelling items and preparing them for dispatch
3. Loading and unloading vehicles as required
4. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
5. Meeting performance targets in a time-sensitive setting

What We’re Looking For:

1. Strong numerical skills – must be confident with basic maths
2. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
3. Previous warehouse or distribution experience is desirable
4. A reliable, team-focused attitude with good timekeeping
5. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
