Job summary

Manpower in Ivybridge is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a night shift role. You will pick orders using forklifts, load vehicles for delivery and assist with cutting flooring products when required.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. You will keep the warehouse clean and safe, following health and safety policies and working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach Truck).
• Willingness to work night shifts (Sun–Thu 21:30–06:30).
• Comfortable using in-house tablet/RF scanner systems.
• Ability to cut flooring products when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• Commitment to health and safety policies and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operative

Location: Ivybridge, PL21 9GN

Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 06:30am

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join a night shift team in Ivybridge. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our operations by picking orders using forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck), loading vehicles for delivery, and assisting with the cutting of flooring products when required.

This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced environment. You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and safe, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking orders from the warehouse using forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach Truck).
• Loading vehicles for delivery, ensuring the correct items are dispatched.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
• Ability to work efficiently during night shifts (09:3pm - 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday).
• Comfortable using in-house systems (tablets, RF scanners).
• Ability to cut flooring products when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
