Job summary

Assist Resourcing is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a leading 3PL client in Skelmersdale. You will work on the production line, perform picking and packing with a hand scanner, assemble end displays, and load pallets while handling alcohol.

The role offers 4 on/4 off shifts (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00), training provided (2 weeks) and ongoing temporary work with strong demand through January 2027. UK resident required with ability to travel to WN8 9TA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Full training provided (2 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Production line work.

• Picking and packing using a hand scanner.
• Wrapping and loading pallets (10–15 kg).

Job Title: Warehouse Operative– Production line work, picking, packing and pallet work. Working with alcohol.

Location: Skelmersdale – Public transport is limited – please check you can travel to WN8 9TA.

Pay Rate: £12.71 p/h

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off – (07:00 – 19:00 or 19:00 – 07:00) – Weekly rota provided.

Experience: Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment would be preferential, and 2 weeks full training is provided.

Contract type: Ongoing temporary work available, with strong demand and regular shifts expected through to January 2027.

If you are a hard-working individual, who relishes a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.We are looking for someone whoideally has previous experience but you will be given 2 weeks training when you start, so we are open to speaking to people with transferrable skills.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. Public transport in the area is limited so please check you can travel to WN8 before you apply.
