Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Sittingbourne to join a leading packaging company on a rotating shift basis. Duties include packing into bags, labeling, wrapping, and moving goods to dispatch.

You will operate a pump truck and may handle forklift duties with licenses (internal or external). The role starts on a temporary basis with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, paying £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to perform warehouse packing and labeling tasks.
• Ability to operate forklift and pump truck with proper training or licensing.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into bags and place them in boxes for dispatch.
• Print and apply labels to finished goods accurately.
• Wrap products manually or with a shrink-wrap machine.
• Move goods through to the dispatch area efficiently.
• Use a pump truck to transport items safely within the warehouse.
• Assist with machine operations including loading products onto the line.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Use of forklift licenses (internal or external).

Job description

Warehouse operative required in Sittingbourne for a client who global leader in packaging. This role can become permanent for the right candidate.

• Packing products into bags and placing them into boxes ready for dispatch
• Printing and applying labels accurately to finished goods
• Wrapping products either manually or using a shrink-wrap machine
• Moving goods through to the dispatch area efficiently
• Using a pump truck to transport items safely within the warehouse
• Assisting with the machine operations including loading product onto the line.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Use of Forklift - licences can be internal or external.

This is on a rotating shift basis and the shift hours of work are 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday and then the following week Monday to Thursday 2pm -12pm with Friday off.
