Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Picker for various warehouse duties in the Telford area. Responsibilities include unloading containers, general housekeeping, and using a scanner for order picking. Candidates should have previous picking/packing experience and be physically fit. This role offers £12.21 per hour with working hours from 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Job description

Working hours: 6am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. Flexibility is required as start and end times may vary.

Location: Telford TF1 area

Pay: £12.21 per hour

You will be expected to cover various areas of the business, including:

1. Containers: Unloading 40ft containers, unpacking products, and storing them in the warehouse. Handballing boxes off lorries and stacking pallets as needed. Work will be predominantly outside or near a roller shutter door, so dress appropriately for weather conditions.
2. General housekeeping: Sweeping and tidying aisles.
3. Picker duties: Using a handheld scanner to locate and pick products, moving bins around the warehouse, and ensuring accurate order selection. Must be fast, detail-oriented, and able to lift. Aim to pick approximately 65 lines per hour.
