Overview

Warehouse Operative roles available working 12 Hour PM OR Night Shifts for a well known clothing retailer in Wath upon Dearne with free parking onsite, ongoing work available with set shifts and overtime paid at enhanced rates.

Shifts: Sunday to Tuesday then Sunday to Wednesday the next week rotating weekly; OR Wednesday to Saturday then Thursday to Saturday the next week rotating weekly.

Hours: PM: 1pm-1am (Apply online only) ; Nights: 6pm-6am (Apply online only).

Pay Rate: £12.51 per hour (6am-10pm); £15.01 per hour (10pm-6am) with overtime paid at 1.5x rate.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean, bright and modern warehouse environment undertaking duties as directed.
• Picking small household items using handheld scanners.
• Accurate quantities of various items for the retail store network as required.
• May include the sortation of returned product from stores and separating them by I.D. codes.
• Use a trolley to transport all picked items.
• Manual handling and long periods of standing are involved.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience as a Warehouse Operative or Picker is desirable.
• Full training provided for those without warehouse experience.
• Experience in a targeted picking environment using a handheld scanner would be beneficial.
• Safety shoes are required.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Physically fit to work on a large site (expected high activity with extensive walking).
