Your Role

4 days on, 4 days off - This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations, including off-loading from trailers, presentation for inspection, and reloading onto trailers.

Your Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading lorries, including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE.
• Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility while remaining compliant with manual handling procedures.
• Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested.
• Taking instructions from on-site partners to support the inspection process.
• Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training.
• Carrying out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives.
• Maintaining the inspection environment following training.
• Demonstrating COSHH awareness following training.
• Assisting drivers in locating bays and supporting them with directions to bays and offices.
• Championing a health and safety culture.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Experience in logistics within a large, fast-moving environment.
• Strong experience with warehouse systems.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
• Experience working towards targets.
• Intermediate PC skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Understanding of warehouse practices such as picking and loading.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in an organized and informed manner.
• Good communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absences when required.
