Warehouse Operative Needed in Stoke-on-Trent

The Role

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a variety of essential duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and fulfilling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing and organising the warehouse. This is a fast-paced and demanding role, but it offers the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set and contribute to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process and record all incoming and outgoing stock
  • Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain a well-organised and tidy warehouse environment
  • Participate in regular inventory reconciliation processes
  • Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Requirements

To be successful in this Warehouse Operative role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A forklift truck license (desirable) and scissor lift experience (essential)
