Night Warehouse Operative

Location: Amesbury, Salisbury, SP4

Contract: Temp to Perm

Shift: 10pm – 6am, 5 out of 7 days

Basic Pay Rate: £15.12ph

gap personnel are recruiting for 6 warehouse operatives for the Twilight shift at TJ Morris’s distribution centre in Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4.

You will join a family-run discount retailer that sells top brands at low prices. The distribution centre is highly automated, covering 1,000,000 sq.ft.

The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in daily operations, ensuring items are picked and delivered to stores promptly. The site operates 24/7, and you will work 5 days a week, including rotational weekends.

All new Warehouse Operatives receive comprehensive training on the automated Caddy Pick System, with ongoing sessions and reviews for continuous development.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Safe picking and loading of items for store delivery
2. Accurate picking and loading as per orders
3. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
4. Achieving pick rate and other targets

This role is physically demanding, requiring walking up to 15,000 steps daily, with the automated system optimizing your route.
