Job summary

Babcock is hiring a Warehouse Operative for RAF Northolt, to support storage, distribution and control of equipment. The role is full-time, on-site, 37.5 hours per week, based at RAF Northolt.

You will maintain stock records, assist with deliveries, and work within a team to ensure timely availability of resources for defence and aviation operations. A full UK driving licence is required and BPSS/SC clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a logistics, stores, warehouse or similar operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.

The role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be part of a collaborative stores and logistics team responsible for supporting the storage, distribution and control of equipment and materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, values teamwork and wants to build a rewarding career supporting defence and aviation operations. You'll gain experience in inventory management, stock control and logistics processes while contributing to work that helps create a safe and secure world.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:

• Full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
