Job summary

South West Recruitment is seeking a Permanent Warehouse Operative for a prominent national food manufacturer in Poole, Dorset. Immediate starts available. Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

The role involves unloading, stock allocation using robots, offloading deliveries, and ensuring traceability. Full forklift training will be provided; counterbalance and reach certificates are desirable for applicants.

Qualifications

• Reach forklift certificate (Desirable)
• Conversational English level required

Responsibilities

• Unloading vehicles and supplying the factory
• Operating robots for stock allocation
• Offload supplier deliveries
• Report overs/shorts to manager
• Book stock onto the system
• Ensure correct pallet labels
• Maintain product traceability
• Complete correct paperwork
• Communicate with relevant department

Job description

Permanent Warehouse Operative Required for a prominent national food manufacturer in Poole, Dorset.

Immediate Starts Available

Rotating Shifts:

Monday to Friday

6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am rotating - £13.73 per hour

Overtime after 39 hours paid at x1.5 - £20.59 per hour

Early finish on Friday's for all shifts:

AM: Friday 6am - 1pm

PM: Friday 1pm - 7pm

Night: Friday 7pm - 2am

Full forklift training will be given to an enthusiastic & committed candidate who is looking for a long term Warehouse & Logistics career.

• Valid Counterbalance Certificate (Desirable not Essential)
• Reach Certificate (Desirable not Essential)

Duties:

• Unloading vehicles and supplying the factory
• Operating Robots for stock allocation
• Offload suppliers deliveries
• Report over and shorts to manager
• Book all stock onto the system
• Make sure the correct pallet labels
• Ensure traceability is applied to the product
• Fill out all correct paperwork
• Communicate with relevant department
